Here's the top 5 reasons why: 1) It's plenty big for most people's needs to survive for 3 days 2) The construction is top notch, so the bag will hold up under the worst of conditions 3) The layout of the bag is awesome to keep your gear neatly squared away, with compartments for quick access items in handy places 4) The price is great compared to the quality that you are getting 5) The bag design makes it carry heavy loads well and fit the majority of people's frames, so you don't get worn down by an improper balanced load I like this bag so much that I own two of them. I will be buying another and expect to get another solid 6 years or more and to be honest I don't even need to replace the old one yet but have money burning a hole in my pocket and I can't think of anything better to invest into. I seriously challenge anyone to put this bag through more abuse than I have it would be a hell of an achievement and guess what it will still hold up its an absolute tank. After 6 years of solid abuse it is only just now starting to show some wear.

Over packed and stuffed during my many travels and has been on countless flights both as checked luggage and carry on. Used and abused for training with weight. It has been with me up and down the united states in all weather conditions. I plan on using it for my Florida trail thruhike, because even for its size, it’s remarkably lightweight. To this day it is still going strong, I’ve been all over the us, through japan, Korea, Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Australia and Qatar with it, never needed more room in it as it had plenty to spare. I purchased this bag in 2014 I think, maybe earlier.
